What types of loungers for in the water are there?

When choosing in-pool seating for your pool, you should always think first about what functionality you are going to give it, since a young couple without children is not the same as an older couple or a family with 5 children, right?

If you are one of those who prefers to sit in a more integrated way, to read or keep an eye on the children, a highly requested option is the in-pool chai. It is a seat with a more vertical back, available in two backrest heights.

 

 

If, on the other hand, you are one of those people who enjoys peace and disconnection while lying down to see the sky and clouds, or close your eyes to totally disconnect, then the in-pool loungers are for you! Is the Lux Loungers in-pool seating for me?

If you are about to build your pool, we recommend that you discuss with your builder what depth of water your platform will have, since, if you want to include later an in-pool seating for your tanning ledge, such as this of Lux Loungers , the maximum depth is usually around 38 cm.

If, on the other hand, you already have a pool with a tanning ledge, it would be a good idea to carefully measure both the surface of the platform and the depth of the water, before buying any type of furniture. At Lux Loungers we can advise you if you are not sure.

In addition, you must take into account that in some cases the platforms do not have enough space for a bed, but perhaps for a in-pool lounger or a chair with a small table. Each case must be studied individually.

 

 

Finally, if you have had a pool for a long time, and at the time you did not include a platform, you have two options:

• If your pool is made of concrete, you can ask your builder to reform it. This reform consists of adding an EPS regrowth in the area where the tanning ledge would go and then covering that new area, either with the same material or with another, as a contrast, like a natural stone.
• If you do not want to go into reforms, you can add a piece of furniture that does not need a platform, such as the barstool for the interior of the pool, available in 2 heights, or the floating bed, very trendy.
